The Calgary Winter Club is an ideal location to exhibit the fine art of our Collective due to its rich history and commitment to excellence. Founded in the 1950s by Roy Farran and a dedicated group, the club has evolved into one of North America's premier private Sport and Social Clubs. Its mission to enrich the lives of member families aligns perfectly with the essence of art, which aims to enrich the soul. The club's values of integrity, respect, and community, mirror the values that artists often infuse into their creations. The club's commitment to wellness and sustainability reflects the enduring nature of art. With its storied past and dedication to providing exceptional facilities and services, the Calgary Winter Club offers the perfect backdrop for our Collective's first fine art exhibition, where art enthusiasts can appreciate creativity in a welcoming and diverse community setting.

Limited spots available. Artists will be chosen through an application process. *Prices may vary depending on availability.

Event Breakdown

  • Location: The Calgary Winter Club

    Address: 4611 14th St NW

    Event Space: Skyline Room East & West

    Time: 2pm - 9pm

    **Artist set up/load in time 9am-1pm (must be done before 1:30pm).

  • Artists will have the option to select ONE art piece to be “Highlighted” by our story teller, Marie Bryce.

    These highlighted pieces will be displayed at the front of the show for all to see.

    *Additional fees apply to Artists who wish to have their art highlighted.

  • Guests will have the option to purchase a ticket to support the artist of their choice and our chosen charity.

    Tickets: $20

    ($10 will go to selected artist and $10 to the charity).

    Each ticket holder is also entered in our raffle for a chance to win amazing prizes including a $200 gift card to the Collective website!

    **Guests do NOT need a ticket to attend the event.*

  • In addition to art, guests can expect live music, raffle prizes, cash bar, and an exciting atmosphere.

    • Fine art paintings will be displayed on easels or grid wall only. For special requests please email albiartteam@gmail.com

    • (Due to event space rules, we are unable to hang/mount anything to the walls.)

    • For all other art types (metalwork, glass, stone, etc.) please provide your own display stands. Must be contained to a 10’x10’ area.

    • We will supply a limited amount of easels and folding tables on a first come first serve basis. (max. of 5 easels per artist). Please email albiartteam@gmail.com if you wish to borrow easels/tables. Otherwise you will have to supply your own display easels/gridwall etc).

    • Lighting: The room is illuminated with warm pot lighting with additional string lighting throughout. This should be plenty of light to showcase your art without having to bring your own lights.

    Note: The venue’s power grid is not capable of handling a large amount of load. If you wish to bring your own lighting please contact albiartteam@gmail.com to discuss details.

  • Event Time: 2pm - 9pm

    Move IN: 9am - 1pm

    Move OUT: 9pm - 10pm

    **Must be finished moving out by 10pm*

Charity Fundraiser

We are proud to be partnered with the Canadian Cancer Society for this event. Charity Tickets and donations can be made through our Charity + Artist Donation page to help us achieve our donation goal of $1000.

Charity Tickets

  • Charity Tickets are a $20 ticket that guests can purchase to donate to our fundraiser exhibiting artists.

    The idea behind the charity tickets is to help achieve our fundraiser goal of $1000 and to support an artists of your choice.

    Multiple tickets can be purchased.

    Note: Guests do NOT need a ticket to attend the event. These tickets are for donation purposes only.

  • $10 from each ticket purchased will be donated to our Canadian Cancer Society fundraiser. The other $10 will be donated to an exhibiting artist of the donators choice. Donators will also be entered into our raffle for a chance to win some prizes!
